An atypical morning.
For once, life could take a backseat.
I sat back and watched my kids at play.
I wasn’t frustrated with the mess they made.
I wasn’t breaking up fights and meting out punishments.
I could, just simply see.
See their ingenuity as they build automobiles out of mega bloks.
Hear their little mini conversations with each other.
Oh boy, do they make me chuckle.
I feel the bond between them strengthening with time.
And I thank my lucky stars for bringing them playmates for life.
